Head of Science appointed Adjunct Professor in Organic Chemistry with a green focus

Our co-worker Johan Wennerberg has been appointed Adjunct Professor in Organic Chemistry with a focus on green process development at The Faculty of Engineering, LTH, Lund University. In his new role, Johan will contribute to more interactions between academia and Red Glead Discovery. Besides teaching, he will conduct projects about green and sustainable chemistry in collaboration with research groups at Centre for Analysis and Synthesis. A major goal is to reduce or replace the use of organic solvents. Another is to develop novel and improved methods for chemical synthesis that are environmentally friendly. All in line with Red Glead’s goal to contribute to a more sustainable drug discovery in the future.
